The questions we get most often.

  • How much does a build cost?

    It depends on components. A working PRS or hunting build typically lands between $4,500 and $7,500 with us as the rifle maker. Builds with high-end optics, premium chassis, or unusual chamberings can run higher. Every quote is fixed in writing before any money changes hands — no surprise upcharges later.

  • How long does a build take?

    10 to 16 weeks is the realistic range. Lead time is dominated by barrel and stock supply, not our shop time. We tell you the honest window when we quote and update you at each milestone. If a component runs long, you hear it from us — not the calendar.

  • Do you ship out of state?

    Yes. We ship to any FFL dealer in the United States. We handle the paperwork on our end; you arrange transfer with your local FFL when it arrives.

  • Can I provide my own components?

    Often, yes — particularly for actions, stocks, and triggers you already own. We bill labor at our standard rates and stand behind the build. We do not warranty third-party components themselves.

  • What’s the deposit structure?

    Typically 50% to start the build (components are ordered immediately), balance due before the rifle ships. We can structure differently for builds where component lead time runs unusually long.

  • Can I see a build in person before commissioning one?

    Yes. If you are within driving distance of the shop, schedule a visit. If you are not, ask and we will send you detailed photos of recent comparable builds.
